Hydrogen Generator?
Hi all,
Browsing on the net found a website promoting Hydrogen Generators for vehicles and claiming a lot of cool benefits like 20% (some people claim up to %50) less gas consumption, lower/cleaner emissions, more horse power, internal engine cleaning, etc... so I started reading a lot on different websites and it seems like it actually works very good...
Anybody have any opinion experience on these things? do they really work? because with the high gas prices I would love to lover my gas budget by 20%, it costs me $70 busk to fill the tank and it only lasts a week an a half...
Also, found a website which sells them here in Canada called savefuel.ca has anybody bought from them before?

Here is a link to make your own http://www.h2gen.info/genplans.html ....
Hydrogen is explosive so make sure you know what you are dealing with before attempting this.

I'd be weary about pumping hydrogen in a car that isn't designed to run on the technology. I can almost assure you it will go ka-boom.

don't you watch the mythbusters? lol
They had a whole episode on snakeoil fuel-saving methods. They built a massive "hydrogen generator" and it didn't help. I think they to pure hydrogen from a tank and still nothing.

That is just too funny.......yes, mythbusters blew that idea to smitherines.
It's a highschool lab experiment, not a legit way to improve your fuel economy.

yeah... I also thought it was too good to be true...
I looked about the Mythbusters episode, it was #53 and what I found is that the were not able to start the car with the modification and it finally exploded so they did not try anymore... so this is not truly busted, it may be extremely dangerous, but not busted...
So I can see everybody thinks it does not work (and I agree) but, have anybody here actually tried it?
