this is closer to the crx then the cr-z is lol. Its supposed to get 40mpg hwy without any heavy @ss batteries or electric assist motors so it wouldnt surprise me, depending on the price, if this completely outsells the cr-z. The styling isnt as aesthetically pleasing as the new elantra (looks like a mash up of it with the gen coupe), but it isnt awkward or ugly either.

Hyundai Veloster
Anyone impressed or completely hate it?

Looks really bold but I'm not sure if it will sell well. Kind of Hyundai's version of the CRX re-invented for the new millenium.

Needs to black out the front grille part, its way too awkward body coloured. Though it'll look similar to the current gen Evo grille :p
Hmm, no projectors, Halogen reflectors

It's a unique design that doesn't remind me of anything in particular and I like it. Would love to see one in person of course but I like the idea of 3rd door in a 4 seat coupe. Though I'm plenty used to the 3rd door on the passenger side as I have a GMC truck with that (back in the day, GM couldn't make a 4-door truck sufficiently rigid...).
I'll be giving the Veloster serious consideration later this year as I'd like to get a sporty hatch - even though my wife will be the primary driver. What may hold me back is the hope that before too long Hyundai would put their turbo 4 engine into that thing and make the "sporty" part way more real.

nice and practical with fairly good looks and a bit of quirkiness...wonder how much itll run up here for if its gonna compete with the mini and crz.
small edit: hp/torque is very small imo and the car is 2500 pounds which helps..but people arent feathers, bit dissapointing
