Last year around this time, there were cereals for free general admission movie tickets. RIP

A few summers ago, cereal with free DQ blizzard and smoothie.
Hmmm...General Mills used to offer some of those coupons.
Will we soon see coupons (of some sort) on a bag of pet food now instead? http://www.canadiangrocer.com/top-stori ... tion-78966

Yeah, I think it was almost always GM. Don't have any pets though.

I used to eat cereals frequently from 2012 to 2016. Most of it came from cereal boxes with promotional packaging. Kinda hard to find good ones nowadays.

flammableliquids.ca seems to have it but can't get a response from them either on phone or email
Sobey's recently bought Farmboy. Maybe they'll bring it back if it sold better than one of their own brands?

They have "Frosted Krispies" which looks similar but still seems different.

Cadbury's dream chocolate, its essentially a white chocolate but something about the cadbury's version makes them superior over their competitors

UK discontinued their version, but Australia is still making the same product. Various British candy shops here still sell them.

The opposite, food you never knew was available...noticed in the canned tomato area of Superstore, 2 varieties of Ro-Tel. Canned tomatoes with green chiles.

Did NOT know this American brand was now available in Canada.

Kraft Heinz had three tartar sauces going a few years back (Kraft, Heinz, McDonald's) and now wtf? They only make the bad one.

What about, can't believe they still make this: cardboard pizza kit, and they want almost $7 for it!

Try the house brand Tartar sauce from Sobeys. My favourite.

If you are in the USA - Aldi has their brand of canned tomatoes with green chilies for $0.59 and they are made by Rotel.

Here's an interesting video.
These foods may be still around, but their popularity might not be as high today. (video explains why)

Pringles stix. Loved these single-serving sleeves of pocky-like cracker sticks in the honey-butter flavour, and only 60 calories a pack. Went looking to restock recently and they seem to be discontinued. Well, there goes my diet-friendly but satisfying movie theatre snack.

Also, Pure Protein Crunch. Little crunchy snacks that tasted like cocoa puffs but with 10g protein a serving. Delicious, and sadly also seem to be discontinued.

Hostess was bought by Lays a long time ago, but brought back for a short time in the early 2000's
Also gone: Humpty Dumpty potato chips...bought by a few different companies since they vanished. (small fry, Old dutch, etc)

Hostess is still available as Hickory sticks today (reason unknown)
