I don't celebrate valentines
One year during valentines, we went to a crowded restaurant and the service was horrible. My wife and I agreed to forego the festivities each year on the condition that I give her $500 spending money.

I never celebrate VD. It is just a commercial holiday and I do not need a specific day to show my wife I love her.

I rather spend $50 on a dozen of roses or a chessy gift than lose "500 BIG ONES" to the Mrs...
BUT....
losing "500 Big Ones" is a small price to pay to avoid being creative year after year... KUDOS! +1
