I feel like McDonald's is getting too expensive.

In the US, a junior chicken is only a McChicken and it's 1.87 USD. not worth it either
I just ate it last week
McChicken sandwich itself is $5.99 here. Wasn't even that much bigger than a Jr. chicken.

Yeah, that's why I never get a McChicken. Jr Chicken is the only thing worth it. :(

Had McDonalds big mac meal tonight for the first time in a while. Fries and drink were the same size as I remember but the burger seemed smaller. I would always dump the fries into the top half of the burger box and they'd fit no problem. This time I had to leave about 1/4 in the fry box and the thing wasn't filled all the way to begin with. As for prices I agree it's too expensive for what it is. I know our dollar sucks and food in general has gotten more pricey but mcdonalds has always been the budget burger place with budget pricing. Now they're trying to sell budget fast food for prices that are close to A&W, dairy queen etc. The quality to price ratio has gotten to the point that there is little value with their food right now unless you see a good deal on the app.

I find BK is going hard with the coupons. Basically always something on deal for the last year+.
They're always in my mailbox, and they often overlap, so I'll have two sets of coupons active at once.
I don't eat fast food often so they usually go to waste, but they're definitely trying to take advantage of McD's declining status.

Does anyone know if different locations within the same city have different prices?

I'm pretty sure a McDouble and Junior Chicken used to be $1.79 but this one location I went into today charged me $1.99 each...I couldn't verify on their menu because it was so small lol

Or did McDonald's recently raise the prices?

This is in the GTA

Edit: Just saw the earlier posts about the price increase. Shame. Small fries, junior chicken, and a McDouble used to be under $5 and now it's over $6...that's inching towards the range where I'd rather just get something of better quality if I'm going towards $10...

Anybody know if they raised everything across the board? Small fries $1.59, and the Jr Chicken and McDouble are $1.99 today.

BK with their Private Equity owners have been going hard. And it is showing in their financial results.

I think it's only during the McDonalds monopoly promotion that there's no stickers on the small.

I went in to McDonalds as I had a 2 for 1 coupon on an egg mccmuffin. I figured 2 egg mcmuffins for $3-3.50 is pretty good.

$4.19!!!!!!! $4.19 for an egg mcmuffin now? WOW!

McDonalds is getting too expensive. Crazy.

Double burger is a decent value at $1.79 - lots of protein and no plastic cheese. Definitely one of the few go-to items other than $1 coffee.

I would agree but the beef patties are so damn thin and I can't stand the smell of their cheese. I'd rather go to an actual burger joint like Harvey's who has big patties.
