Plz keep that comment to yourself! I have been to Thailand over 26 times. I won't advice anyone to go there with less than 2500 to spend per week.

Is that including or excluding airfare? I've spent less in Europe in a week travelling modestly. I highly doubt the baht costs "more" than the £ or €...

Thailand for sure. The land of smiles. Hotels are inexpensive and food is ridiculously cheap. I go there often and it can be done easily for 2500.
If you've got a little more .... Maybe another 500-800 stop in Hong KOng for a few days on the way over.
Awesome!
If you need help with Thailand drop me a message.

I have been in Thailand last month, stopped Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Phi phi and Krabi. The fare really depends on what kind of hotel you want to stay, what kind of food you choose to eat. $2500 might be enough for two weeks if you choose to eat and live cheap. One more question, is air fare included within this $2500?

I've gotten stuck in Banglamphu for weeks then took off to Nepal. If Banglamphu has everything, beaches are too boring.

Lisbon is great, I love it. Avoid Porto, its boring.
There is a Portuguese airline that connects Toronto with the Azores (and from there with Portugal), sometimes these tickets are very affordable.
Greece would be another option, but I don't know about air fares to Greece.
