I live in U.S. and got ticket for storage and Towed in Burnaby
I arrived in BC Thursday night. went to Burnaby where I visit frequently with family living in apt. I always park on the street with no issues. on Friday I parked the car at 7:00pm. sometime around 5 am I got up to use the restroom and noticed the car was gone since I can see it from the window. I call 911, they told me to call the tow company, I called them and they said they towed my car because the bylaw ticket it and called for tow. I have parked in that location for over a year with no issues or notices, there are no signs with regards to parking. I was well away from the intersection. the ticket says Storage for the reason.
I am planing to contest this and ask them to pay for the towing. I do not see any justification for them doing any what they have done.
If I do not get justice this way I am planing to write to U.S authorities, since I feel picked on.
what do you think?
Thanks!

What exactly are the US authorities going to do for you? While it may be surprising to you Canada is indeed a soverign nation, and US authorities have no jurisdiction here.
