I lose all respect for Oakley when...
...they create something like this:

The Hat - MSRP $500USD
Matching Sunglasses - MSRP $250USD
I guess when you're the most popular brand you can pull off crap like this. I could rant on about how terrible this is, but lemme hit a few points:
-oakley talks so much about performance and tries to portray an athletic, rugged image... hmmm
-$750USD of crap on your head!!!!
-the model must be thinking "my career will only be downhill from here"
-i actually saw a boxer wearing this as he entered the ring, WITH the matching sunglasses might I add
-$750USD!!
-Predator anyone?
-i'd be the most ashamed store owner if i carried this
-wth are those?? rubber dreadlocks?? oh right is called MEDUSA, so they're rubber snakes, even better
man i can't even write anymore,

Awesome!
I lost respect for Oakleys 10 yrs ago when I went to New York city and saw everyone wearing exact replicas from Chinatown .. box, sticker, everything exactly like the orig, and realized that they are truly just $5 pieces of plastic no matter what their marketing agencies say.

Good one. But that head thing might become a big hit amongs bikers perhaps. Esp if Oakley folks manage to do some product placement on a movie or something? (remember GM and the last Matrix movie)?

From their product description: "Coveted by Oakley tribesmen who have O Matter coursing through their veins, the Medusa is sure to set you apart."
WTF?

First of all, all those fakes look the same, they dont make fake oakleys with the better metal / titanium frames. The lenses of fakes cannot even begin to compare to oakleys. Yes oakleys are over priced, so are many other glasses, but to say that Canal St (new yorks fake town) can replicate all oakleys, its just those cheap plastic molds that you can tell are fake. Just take a look at there website, you wont find most of those styles on the street. Certianly wont find the above glasses on canal st
Yeah I saw that boxer wearing these sunglasses, Oakley always puts out a werid pair like this. I think this same style like 3 years ago was supposed to be used in the X-Men movies.
Gotta give it to em for creativity. If I was a biker looking to be obnoxious and different, perhaps these would compliment my leather jacket and harley.

Honestly, I could see something like this working without the "snakes." Heck, I would buy something like this without the snakes.
