i need driving lessons (to get my G2)
hi guys, good to see forum full of torontoians.
anyways, i need to get some proper training for my G2. anyone have any recommendations for who/where to go? i only need road training for now, no need for in-class sessions.
im in markham

Jay @ AMCO, based out of markham. confirm the price over the phone. about $20-25 per lesson in car for refresher, + inclass charges.

They should have plenty of instructors in Markham. Just find the cheaper person available if you plan to drive around a lot. If you just want a quick lesson to learn everything or as a refresher for the test, it might be worth it to find someone reputable.

he's asking for a REFERENCE for a good one from a fellow RFD'er ..not just any bozo with a 7digit number posted on the ttc busstop...

Young Drivers good, but I checked with them and they cost like 800 dollars...I think its too expensive...Just take classes with someon who is Ministry Approved, so you can get reductions on your Insurance

we are talking about G1 exit, right?
I used TIME driving... i think paid somewhere around 250 bucks for classes and road practices, then paid the instructor another 100 bucks on the day of G2...
I heard some examiners dont like testing for G1 exit (g2) in private cars, they prefer cars with extra set of pedals on passenger side (instructor's car), and it's certainly understandable, I wouldnt want to be in a car with a wayward driver without means to stop him/her from getting into an accident...

Just look up driving schools in the phonebook or 411.ca theres plenty, might want to consider going to one close to you or will pick you up at school or home for the driving lessons.

I highly recommend them, its much cheaper then drivers ed, a full package at YD is like $800 these guys do the same thing for $300. (maybe even cheaper)
If you call them up ask for yarek, I can parrelle park in the tightest downtown spots like a champ thanks to his simple tips!
