probably a MLM or primerica presentation.
Ask what kind of refreshments are being served. If its pizza and beer, I would be interested in going.

I Need More Information About This Scam
The below was posted recently on a local forum site. I know it is a scam, based on the post it self.
Do you want to have more money, more free time and more personal fulfillment in your life? I am not kidding! I am showing several 1 hour presentations this week in my home, day or evening in North Oshawa. Anyone and everyone is welcome! I will not try to sell you anything - so leave your money at home. Whether you are already self-employed, stay-at-home Mom or Dad, part-time or full-time employed, unemployed, on unemployment, retired, already wealthy, single, single parent, social assistance, criminal record, in college or university - - - whatever the case may be, you will want to see this.
You must see this presention and don't let opportunity pass you by! Please reserve your seat for you and your friends by calling me at ***** or ********@sympatico.ca
I am looking forward to helping my friends make their dreams come true! Refreshments will be served.
When I asked for more information all the OP would say is come see the presentation and locked her own thread. So, after I posted a warning on that forum she finnally came out and said it isI tried googling, but I can not find out how this scam works. Anybody have any knowledge of this? The Secret and Law of Attraction and The Science of Being Successful_______________

This is definitely not a scam. This should be posted in hot deals. Free refreshments are totally worth it.
