USB-C

I wonder if many people will have any issues with there only being one USB-C port, maybe if trying to use flash drive and charging at same time, but I found tons of cheap USB-C to female adapters for usb 3.0/3.1, hdmi, etc on Amazon and Aliexpress.. I'll just order one for usb-A to usb-C to connect all my drives, and maybe look for a hub that has pass through.

For anyone trying to get their heads around it, here is a good article with TONS of adapters and explanations.... use this info to search for what to buy,

You guys are getting an awesome laptop at a great price. I have a 2016 m7 512GB that I paid full retail for and was, to me at least, worth it. Here's a few tips for using it:
1. Run the hack that allows you to go 1680x1050 @ HiDPI resolution. This is the perfect screen resolution for this computer, giving the most space possible.
2. Keep the keyboard clean. I've gotten stuff under the keys and they've screwed up my typing for a few days until repeated presses crush whatever is underneath there. LOL.

It weighs less than my 12.9" iPad Pro does, is incredibly thin, and well balanced, with a great trackpad.
+1

I paid full price for my maxed out 2016 rMB m7, totally worth it. When I'm out and about I'll take the rMB over my ipad pro/tbmbp 13". I use the rMB more than my tbmbp 13".

1680x1050 HiDPI is a must with the 12" screen . I paid for SwitchResX but you can do it without the app (here) .

No, AppleCare won't recognize the serial number. IBM provides the warranty.

that's a deal breaker. I guess if I bought it on my credit card, they would extend it at least a year beyond IBMs warranty. Does anybody know how the IBM warranty is in comparison to Apple care?

Has anyone had their price adjustment go through? Mine was submitted to some global finance team as a request but there has been no confirmation.

For those hoping their credit card will extend the warranty on this refurb it usually only extends the warranty offered by the manufacturer (Apple) and not the retailer (IBM) so double check your card terms before counting on it if it factors into your decision.

Hi that's a good point. However, if I purchased a new one from bestbuy, the cc would definitely cover it. How would the cc company know otherwise if I bought it online with IBM?

All of the credit cards i've seen will also not extend the warranty on used/refurbished/CPO items.

Received mine yesterday! Space Gray MacBook M5, perfect condition and had about 11 cycles on it. I called in to order on April 13th

I use my mid 2011 MB Pro like once a year but the RFDer in me says it's time to upgrade.

give lots of head for sick knee fadez, give lots of lap dances for ca$h wallet fades. Always pop that leg when kissing for dope honey combs, knee lots of mans in the crotch for killer whiskers, low ride like an og for them stacks. And traintracks? Only achievable by a legend in the denim game
