Same here - too many "deals" that get confusing after a while

buy one when you need it, then don't come back to forum for 6 months, you won't be disappointed.

Augh. I hate looking at these threads. I was the ones that paid top dollar last September to make the T400's so cheap right now!
Tons of things for sale!

which is the card reader that reads sd/mmc/xd/etc? Is it media or smart card?

Express Card & Smart Card Slots [add $0.00]

Express Card & Media Card Slots [Lenovo recommended]

Thanks.

I updated the original post to include the full coupon details.
Works great also for the T & R series for 15% off EPP. Also, the 10% SL series is decent too if you want a cheap laptop. Again, no minimum purchase!

<$1300 all in for a base X200 tablet.. Damn, I really don't need another laptop. I was thinking the ASUS 10" tablet instead.

Thanks OP,

For x200, you can de-select camera option which bring total price down to $919

Do most people on RFD ever really NEED any of the stuff that they end-up buying? Most RFDer's are shopaholics (broad stereotype, but somewhat true) and just can't seem to pass up a good/hot deal, haha. Some have sold their soul and are now eternal slaves to RFD, lol!!

Hey all, I'm looking for a laptop for uni and was wondering which of these 3 configurations is the best deal (if any). I'll probably buy a 2gb stick of ram for all of these, but won't upgrade the hard drive. Performance (excluding games) is my biggest priority, followed by portability and battery life. Price is flexible (but capped around $1000), which is why I'm considering all three. Thanks in advance for any advice you may bestow upon me :D .
