I'm sure i read a couple report in the past where this dealership was accused of not disclosing repairs. I'm pretty sure more RFD members can help with but here's one i found for you (just search for ideal fine cars.):

Anytime you see dealerships selling used US cars, you should be careful. Sometimes its better to get certified used just to be safe. With new car prices the way they are today, might be worth checking out new too. Good luck![]()

Ideal Fine Cars
Has anyone purchased a car from Ideal Fine Cars on Weston Road (www.idealfinecars.com).
It seems that a majority of the cars at this dealership come from the States and I'm just trying to find out some more info on them (are they reputable, are the cars as good as they say, dealing with the staff etc.).
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I *think* there's also an Ideal Collision, owned and operated by the same people that run the dealership. So if you put 2 and 2 together, I'd stay clear of them.

big time scammers
I strongly recommend everybody not to buy a thing from these guys, they will tell you anything to lure you into buying a car but they will never tell you the truth about the car whether it was in an accident or not. They will also give you a price but when you go to pick the car they give you a different and higher price. All their cars have been in some types of accident but the mother****ers never tell you about it and when you ask that question they will tell you the car never had an accident until you realize it yourself after buying the car, big time bunch of ****ing crooks,

just sold MDX that i bought at IDEAL
...about 2 years ago. i was lead to believe it had no accidents but in 2 years i had to do the following repairs 1 yawl sensor, 2 set of full brakes (calipers, rotors, pads, flush), 1 new battery, set of tires, engine mounts, numerous paint flaking to bare metal and windshield trim pulling away. i think it was in an accident. i had to sell it to avoid bleeding anymore. They also did not provide 2 set of remote keys as discussed. left all the scratches without touching up as discussed.
oh well, it's over now. good luck to you.

1) Do carfax and carproof
2) bring it to a mechanic for an inspection
That should allay any worries about an accident.
I highly doubt any used car dealer will fix scratches for one of their customers, this is a costly process and not worth it to them.
