Ideas to make $500-$1000 extra a month?

Hi Guys I'm currently making around $50K a year, thinking of putting a down payment of $25K on a condo this year, I'm looking for any ideas on a part time job where I can pay off my my monthly expenses for about a year.

Go cut lawns or do landscaping work. I pay my landscaper $100-200 mth. He does it part time and nets approx 3k+ mth with all the clients he has.

work for the gov't. There are job openings for weekend which no full timers want to work. It pays pretty good, about high teens to low 20's per hour.

which city is this for? I used to do 150 papers Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays in the Brampton/Mississauga area and $200 was a good month, a guy will drop it by our house then we would pack it and then go house to house to deliver it.

Op just get a weekend job, I currently do about 16 hours a week on weekends in a 24/7 call centre and its pretty cozy there during slow months we would get like 3 calls during an 8 hour shift and I clear about 10k from it each year.

Say what??? That's $35 an hour. That CAN'T be right, there is no way the paper company is paying paper delivery people $35 / hour.

Are you subtracting your gas expense?

even after gas expense that's pretty good coin for the paper route. I had one when I was a kid and never cleared more than a couple hundred (and I had like 100 papers) and the hours I had to get the paper out by made it less attractive..

Link? I thought government jobs were pretty much 9 to 5 Monday to Friday only. Definitely interested if this is true.

Wrong. Government jobs are 9 to 4:15, 220 days per year.
