IE 7 is out. What is the deal?
This is the one without Yahoo junk
http://www.ajerman.com/IE7-Setup.exe
Anywho, what is the big deal with this release? I just don't see it can kick Firefox's ass. I will stick with Firefox for the forseeable future.

I think any significant changes to IE lie somewhere underneath. I tried it back when they were in the Beta 1 stage. This is still RC1 - and not the final but I actually prefer the interface of IE6 compared to 7.
I'll just wait for the final version and upgrade to IE7 at that moment. I'm not a Firefox guy myself, but there is certainly nothing wrong with the open source development bringing competitive, similar products (in some ways better).

Worth the upgrade? I'm fine with Opera plus I'm not feeling the new look vista-ish... Where the hell is the File, Edit, etc.? (Like any Microsoft software, is it worth the upgrade?)

Well it appears that most of what used to be the Edit menu is now inside the "Page" menu (a button on the top-right) below the search field.
And some of the File menu has been taken into the Tools menu and Print menu (respective buttons also on the top-right). I'm not having an easy time with this IE7 so far...
And I don't like how small they made the Back/Forward and Refresh and Stop buttons. Plus why the hell did they put the Refresh and Stop buttons completely far from the Back/Forward buttons?!_______________

Lol seriously dude you gotto learn to use the keyboard for such stuff. I hate to see ppl using their mouse to click go, stop etc
...hehe but all boils down to user preference. BUt you might wanna consider the tips
1) If you want the old menu bar, either click alt and it will show up temporarily. TO have it permanently do alt+v -> toolbar->menu bar or click the tools icon on the right hand and click menubar
2) to go back use backspace key or (alt+left arrow)
3) to go forward use alt+right arrow
4) refresh = f5
5) stop = esc
