do not buy the 8800GTS 320mb now you could buy Radeon HD 3850 for $207.00 it faster then 8800GTS 320mb but the 8800 GT is king.

With shipping and tax however, he's right, it does come up to just under $207 ($180 + $15 shipping + 6% tax).
As a side note though, I think it would be a good idea to get the 3850 as, like he said, the 3850 does I believe perform just as good as, if not better than the 8800GTS 320MB. The problem with that however is the OP wants one of the new 8800GTS revisions that come out in December. I'm assuming he just wants the 8800GTS 320MB to tide him over until then at which point he wants to trade it in for the new revision.

EVGA's stepup means once the card comes to canada from the US, you get banged by customs canada for about $50. This is on top of your shipping it to them.
Would be rather ******** to do this if the ultimate aim was for the 8800GT since EVGA is currently out of stock of the GT..

if your talking about best buys return policy then you can keep the 8800GTS 320mb for 30days and then if the GT doesn't come by then return it.
The 320mb will beat out the ATI 3850. Its more in the league of the 3870 except the 3870 has more memory and for games that require it, then it will beat it out._______________

Nov 18th, 2007 11:04 AM #13Isn't it 14 days like with FutureShop?if your talking about best buys return policy then you can keep the 8800GTS 320mb for 30days and then if the GT doesn't come by then return it.
I think this whole plan is rather silly, why not simply wait for the new card than go through all this hassle?

Agreed...but, it's the OP's choice.
