if you know alot about power tools (eletric motors in general)
hi so i bought this 500 piece rotary tool for $60 at CT (on sale this week)
anyway i was testing it by cutting a piece of wooden stick. at first i set the speed too low so half way cutting it the friction actually jammed the cutting blade so it's not rotating but the tool's motor was still making noise.
do you know what happens to the motor when it cant spin anymore? is it bad for the motor? after i increased the speed and it cut the stick like butter.
wow cant believe it took me this long to get this useful tool!

If it's decent tool there's probably a clutch.
