[IKEA] HOT!! IKEA Poang armchair $49 August 31 - September 4

5 days only - IKEA POÄNG Armchair, birch veneer, Ransta natural regular price $99, on sale for $49. August 31 to September 4, 2017. I don't think this chair ever went lower then $49.

Updated 2017-08-31:

Looks like there are some colour options - the beige in the original post as well as the black and red base cushions are all the same price ($24 for the cushion, $25 for the frame = $49).

There's also another option to choose the thicker cushions for $79 total (cushions $54, base frame $25).

* Note that some of the cushions in the the screen grab for the thicker cushions show them with the frame, but $54 is for cushion only.

Saw this in the flyer as well. Wondering if the other ones are on sale.

Only those color shown are on sale...

I wish all colors are on sale.

They have wooden slats in the back that several of my friends *really* don't like. I've got a similar chair that's about 20 years old and has a metal frame running around the edges that's much more comfortable.

I bought one of these for my son about 4 years ago. He used it for gaming in his bedroom up until a year ago, and now it's an extra chair in our living room. Decently comfortable, enough that I intended to buy another one this fall to have a pair in our den. At half price, I'm grabbing one this week for sure.

Just a FYI, the $49 version comes with the base cushion:

The more plush and thicker base cushion costs much more:

They're pretty comfortable. I have a similar one which is a rocking chair and has served me well for 4 years. Wooden armrests might be uncomfortable but you can always cover with it something for comfort.

Nice deal but as mentioned above by cell567 this one comes with the base cushion. We have both and the thicker cushion is noticeably more comfortable - just FYI

i bought a pair of these a few yrs ago, i think the sale price was $79.- & that did NOT include the cushion. Great deal for $49- i find them very comfy & enjoy the slight rocking motion.
