IMAX & Scene Points

You're right, for some reason the cineplex site doesn't let me use scene points to buy IMAX tickets for this coming Tuesday. Anyone else have this problem?

I had to physically go to the theatre's FastLane Kiosk to redeem my Tuesday Dec 29th, 2009 ticket using scene points. You can also redeem via the cashier/associate at the counter.

I have no problem redeeming Imax tickets ONLINE for other days other than for Tuesdays, must be the Telus big movie ticket tuesday glitch thingiemajig??

hey guys, how the heck did you guys use SCENE points to redeem online? I can't see any option for that, and I'm trying to redeem it for Avatar IMAX for Dec. 31 (Thurs). The only paying method I see are credit card and via bank account...wtf? this is pissing me off

I've noticed that when I bought TWO tix yesterday for Avatar (in the theather), I only got 100 points, shouldn't it be 200 points for 2 tix?

You would need to make two separate transactions to get 100 points per ticket.
But it is very YMMV. Sometimes they would be nice and do two separate transactions, but more often than not they will say no.

When i use those ADmit one passed and i bring my son and his friend to the movies they would even give me a hard time in getting those extra points.

I'm having trouble. I want to go watch this in IMAX 3D At Silvercity Gloucester (Cineplex), but I can't for the life of me figure out how to reserve my preferred seating online.

Can someone help please?

You would need to make two separate transactions to get 100 points per ticket.

I was told that if you go to the Fastlane Kiosks and do two separate transactions you get the SCENE points that way. I never got a chance to verify this though

You can buy up to 2 adult tickets PER card on one day and is suppose to be for 2 different movies. Buying on line gets you the extra 20 points per ticket. Kids tickets also count, which I believe are 2 per card in one day. Buying on line will be the strictest. I have bought tickets at the counter and was able to add 200 points on one card and the cashier had to do the transaction separately.

You can not use your Admit One for an IMAX show. You used to be able to a couple years ago because it didn't state it on the back before.

you can use the "admit one" tickets for IMAX, but you have to pay a surcharge. I was wondering if the "admit one" is a "coupon" so i can enter it on the site
