Impreza 2.5i street price
Well now that I've seen what the 08 Impreza looks like, I think I'm gonna pick up a 07 before they are gone.
Any 2.5i owners here? I'm wondering what you paid for it, so I can get an idea of what I should expect to pay, or how low I can get one for. If there's one thing RFD is known for, it's PM, hahaha
I live in Toronto by the way.

there's not a huge difference price-wise US vs Can on the 2.5 imprezas...other than the WRX or STi. There's not alot of of markup on the impreza at all. I think most people I've talked to that got a 07 SE got it for marginally below MSRP.
YMMV

Check out these threads...I bought a vehicle in the US and saved a fair amount, and I did the process myself.
This thread provides almost everything you need to know, but contains more than 100 pages and counting regarding warranties, importation, dealers etc...

This link also provides info on financing and importation.

The amount of info and posts to read is crazy.
For the individuals that did buy their vehicles from the states, what amount of time did you spend in order get the car over in Canada from beginning to end? From all the people that said they purchased their vehicle south of the border, all of you seem to have gotten a great deal. I just recently purchased a Mazda3 GT, you guys made me to believe that I could have gotten a Subaru WRX for the same amount

Yeah, I read over the thread two weeks ago, but still seems like a lot of time spent calling and confirming with the dealership who's happy and willing to help you export the car (temporary plate and what not). Then at least 2 trips down to US to work out the paper work with the dealer, and have to pound for the paper work for the US export control and CDN customs. Also have to go to CDN Tire to do all the checks. And then have to spend a few hrs with the bank to work out a loan, negotiate reasonable rates and what not.
I know the savings is great, but I wouldn't mind paying someone to do this instead of taking all the days off work to get this through.
