Ontario Government has no love for electric motorcycles. They don't even qualify to get a green plate!

looks nice! not as light as i'd like but o mang....its got torque! should pull hard til top speed. if u do get one, do take into account range is under optimal conditions & canada's not a country thats been nice to batteries. i'd say range is about 1/2 - 3/4 atmost.

would be a fun toy at $5k but at $14....i'd say no.

No... a moped that does 0-100km in 3 seconds? hm...
A 2004 Ford GT Roush 600 RE has a 0 - 60 time of 3.2 seconds.
A 2014 Audi RS7 has a 0 - 60 time of 3.3 seconds.
A 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS has a 0 - 60 time of 8.7 seconds.
A 2013 Dodge Dart SE has a 0 - 60 time of 10 seconds.
A 2009 Ford Fiesta Diesel has a 0 - 60 time of 15 seconds.

All of these are cars. The performance of a vehicle does not classify it. This is an electric two wheel vehicle. I was wondering where it would be classified? Above an electric bike? Is it an electric motorcycle? Is there such a classification? Is it a scooter?

A Moped in Ontario according to the HTA is a 50cc & under motorized bike with pedals. A limited speed motorcycle aka scooter is one that is 50cc and less.
Anything over is a motorcycle.

There have been changes to the definition due to electric technology.
This is a motorcycle requiring a full motorcycle license.

Electric bicycles are a whole different ball game... They are bicycles and can only have a max speed limit of 32km/hr. Anything over and the vehicle is classified differently.

But please please please do not confuse these with those dumb electric bicycles/scooters hobo's drive.
