I think my favourite line was
"Ok, everytime they run, we do a shot" as the bad guy pops open the champagne

Unfortunately, Shrek 2 took the People's Choice Award for favorite animated feature this year - doesn't know if that will reflect on the Incredibles' Oscar hopefuls since the competition is the exact same. (Both are great movies, but the Incredibles seemed to have more heart).
I'm generally not a big fan of sequels since most are made with $$$ in mind first, and a real desire to continue the story second. Toy Story 2 was a direct to video release originally before Disney changed its mind last minute for a theatrical release. Then again, TS2 had a real story to to complement the first one.

"The Incredibles" is set for theatrical release in February in Hong Kong and Disney has already set its voice cast for the Cantonese dub which will include veteran actors like Francis Ng, Eric Kot, Amy Kwok (Lau Ching-Wan's wife...coincidentally, Lau Ching-Wan is the voice of Marlin in the cantonese dub of "Finding Nemo"), Stephanie Cheng, and Ronald Cheng (no-brainer.....judging from the comedic routine and the nature of his voice, you'd already know he will be Syndrome)

March 15 is going to be INCREDIBLE!!
from USA Today....
Super! The Incredibles arrives on DVD March 15 ($29.99, also on VHS) with an all-new animated short that reveals the latent powers of Jack-Jack, the baby of the animated superhero family.
Jack-Jack's Attack chronicles "what takes place at the house with (babysitter) Kari and Jack-Jack while the rest of the family is on the way to the island or on the island," Pixar DVD producer Ann Brilz says. As the story plays out, the toddler reveals his latent powers.
Other extras include an alternate opening, deleted scenes, bloopers and commentary from director Brad Bird, Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) and Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson). A making-of-the-film featurette began as soon as Bird came to Pixar to start work on the film. "When he walked in the first time, he carried a camera, and it was rolling the whole time," Brilz says. "We had this great body of footage to draw from."
awesome, commentary with Brad Bird, Nelson and Jackson.

Gee, the time between theatrical release and DVD release are getting so short. I remember I had to wait more than a year before I got my hands on the Toy Story 2 DVD (of course it was the ultimate toy box set, so it was worth the wait). I hope they don't skimp on the extras to make the date.
But the short sounds cool though.
Oh and $26.59 at <a href=../autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=19 target=_blank>Amazon.ca</a> (link]
Not as good as dvdimport but if you want to buy something else there and maybe have a $5 coupon, it turns out to be ok. And a larger online retailer for those of us who might not be as comfortable with other online retailers.Last edited by QBert; Jan 18th, 2005 at 12:39 PM. Reason: added Amazon.ca price

At Futureshop, the DVD is $24.99...but they have "special offers" with this, like what they had with Shrek2 but not as good:
In-Store: Receive a FREE Disney/Pixar Collector’s Tin with purchase of DVD. While supplies last.
On-Line: Receive a $5 eCertificate over a $30 purchase
*Please Note:On-line offer valid until March 22nd, 2005. One eCertficate per customer. eCertificate will be emailed in the week of March 29th, 2005._______________
