When I got my eyebrow piercing they suggested cleaning it 2-3 times a day with bactine. They also said to move the piercing around to get the parts that are normally covered by skin as well. They said this is standard cleaning procedure of pretty much all piercings, I wouldn't assume this to be any different. Plus, the place I got pierced gave instructions on proper cleaning when I got it done too.

Industrial piercing help !
Hey RFD,
A friend of mine got an industrial piercing in the beginning of March and i just saw it today and she has too bumps, one on the outter top part of her ear and one in the bottom inner part of her ear. It doesn't seem to be a keloid because it just looks like Hypertrophic Scarring but she wants to start the process of healing it.
So my question is what would be the best way to heal it? She's been cleaning it everyday ever since she got it with sea salt mixed with warm water solution and we've been reading that applying tea tree oil does help as well. I honestly don't really have any idea on where to buy this except the Body shop and was also wondering if this type of tea tree oil would work/help heal it.
Link to the Body shop tea tree oil.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, just trying to help out a really good friend.
Thanks in advance !

I've used olive oil to help with keloids before, it helps break down scar tissue.
Keloids can form very easy on industrials, best of luck in her getting them down to a manageable level._______________

I had an industrial, custom bar, 3 inches or so from the bottom of my earlobe entirely vertical, through cartlidge n all that shiznat.
OP: Frankly..you aren't going to get any recommendations on here that the most basic google search or conversation with a piercer would really be able to offer.
Some people will always form keloids easily and never really be able to get rid of em, which is unfortunate as they are pretty gross.
ps: Make sure that the bar itself is of a good quality metal._______________

when i was stretching out my ears here's what i did..
if its swollen apply aspirin paste (mash up aspirin and add a few drops of water) on the piercing while the piercing is in before you sleep... it will help reduce the swelling in a few days
to help with the healing process... tea tree oil + olive oil solution has worked wonders for me.... as for the solution mix its up to you... personally used 50/50.. once its healed its best to apply some vitamin E oil every now and again to help with the healing.
