ING direct has exciting announcement on Nov 5th

From an email I received.

On Tuesday, November 5th, we're having a unique, not to be missed event where we will be making an exciting announcement! As a valued Client we'd like you to be one of the first to hear our big news and you're invited to take part via live-stream.

Join us live, as we share our announcement with our employees and you. Go to ingdirect.ca/event at 1:30pm ET on November 5th to participate.

We know you're going to be as excited as we are.

Sincerely,

Peter Aceto
CEO, ING DIRECT

They're ready to rebrand under the Scotiabank name?

I'm assuming it's the new name.

They had 18 months from the sale, it's been about 12.... so a six month long rebranding exercise is probably in order.

I agree, but I doubt it.

Shortly after rogers bought out Fido, I received a letter from Fido saying something like "To better serve our valued customer, we are going to increase the 911 fee by $0.25". That $0.25 might look small but it was like a 25% increase. Don't set your bar too high :-)

Remember, remember, the 5th of November?

LOL

I'm an ING customer because I have 1 cent in my ISA for over 10 years that they have refused to absorb.

more likely name change than credit card, unless it's both at the same time lol... seems doubtful they'd release and advertise an "ING Direct" credit card when they still have to change their name in a few months.

Could be 'exciting' new fees... Let's hope it's good news.
