if you're gonna damage a cpu OCing it you're gonna damage it pretty quickly... and intel doesn't cover damaged caused buy OCing in their warranties anyways

Having been a tech at a computer shop for a few years now, I've RMA'd many many Intel CPU's without any problem.

The only time Intel will refuse an RMA is when it is physically cooked. Most overclockers won't actually fry a chip, but the gradual decrease in the chips life from running 1-2GHz faster than intended will cut the life significantly, at which point Intel will RMA the chip.

It's more than adequate for stock speeds, as well as some light'ish overclocking.
