Interest in Micro Center imports (cheap computer parts)?
I've got some friends in the USA that are willing to export computer parts to Canada with some markup. The price difference on large orders can fairly large. They will only ship with insurance and tracking (so filed chargebacks fail).
They will take orders and payments from Canadians interested in better prices, pickup the parts and ship them to Canada.
Any interest?
Micro Center price example.

duty/brokage/shipping = more expansive than buying here

There's no duty on computer parts and no brokerage using USPS with proper paperwork. All that's left is shipping costs -- last personal order was $36.

Microcenter deals are amazing, but computer parts pricing in canada is now actually cheaper than in the USA (before taxes).

I'm offering a referral to a service to benefit Canadians. I understand your skepticism but remember that these people are also taking a risk with you. What's to say that you don't order, receive and chargeback?

OP, I know what you're thinking. Ya MC sometimes sells processors for $100 less than Canada.
Add in the packaging, shipping, insurance, currency exchange, duty, mark up for your "pal", how much are you actually saving, $20?
But at the end of the day unless you're moving hundreds of units, it's not worth the time and effort.
