This kind of jabbing happens all the time.
Bell once made a print ad for the home phone after the big black out. One of the beavers was screaming out his window to his Rogers customer neighbour, saying, "Hey neighbour, come over and use our phone. It still works." Or something like that. Rogers countered with an ad that looked nearly identical (but used a human instead of a beaver). Instead of a black out, it was stormy. That person was screaming to his Bell customer neighbour, "Hey neighbour, come over and watch our cable TV. It still works."
I also love how they compete with the wireless internet. They both claim that their version is faster and has a wider range. The reality is the wireless internet was a project that both Rogers and Bell developed together and share! Let’s take speed capping out of the equation and it's the same service, just re-branded.

Interesting Bell move against Rogers
Source: http://mobilesyrup.com/2009/06/17/be...ell-vs-rogers/

Often the big 3 have just been matching one another, but this is quite a decisive jab. Naturally there's the whole GSM vs CDMA debate and of course the anti-Bell comments. Regardless, competition like this promotes lower prices which benefit everyone. We know that Bell and Rogers have a long relationship when it comes to advertising against each other… heck a few months back Rogers claimed that Bell was false advertising with their campaign for being the “fastest and most reliable network”. This was taken straight to the Advertising Standards Canada (ASC) to have their ads removed.
Today is a new day and with a new day comes new advertising. Bell has decided to target Rogers once again, this time no holds barred with a bold posters showing “Bell vs. Rogers”. This is a targeted advertising campaign only located in the Greater Toronto Area locations. The tagline is “Get more than Rogers for Less than Rogers”…and what is it exactly? Well if you are a BlackBerry user you’ll be happy to know that Bell will be launching a new plan today called “GTA Attacks Rogers” and it takes on Rogers $70 BlackBerry plan.
Currently Rogers has a BlackBerry plan that gives you 550 minutes and 1Gb of Data for $70 a month. Bell’s new plan will have the following for $45 a month: 550 minutes, 100 bonus minutes and 1GB data. So in all you get 100 minutes and save $25 per month!
The weird thing about the ad is that they show 2 old Blackberry Curves. We know that Bell is coming out with the BlackBerry Tour (around July 15th) and Rogers has been sporting the BlackBerry 8900 for some time now. However, just some updated devices could have possibly been even more convincing._______________
Avoid buying from TigerDirect based on repeated demonstrations of poor business practice.

Do you have a link to this? I know it would make sense for them to do an increase since they have done so for Express. However, it could still stay the same and just leave the bandwidth cap greater than express in order for Rogers to get people to pay for a bigger cap.
Back to the topic: Is that really all that the plans offer? Minutes and a data plan?
