Interior Lighting on my car... how?
First, my car is a 2000 Neon LX..
Second, here is what I did:
Took the facia off of the middle console where my DVD/CD Deck is, unscrewed the holder for the defroster switch and the cigarette lighter, I pulled the cigarette lighter/12V Connector out, cut the wires, used the little screw things to join wires and wired up 2 Blue LED lights in my middle vents...
The next thing I want to do is add more LEDs, I have 2 blocks with 6 LEDs in them and they change colours every few seconds. My question is, where else (other than direct to the battery) can I hook these up? Will the fuse box within the car be ok and if so where and how would I attach them to that?
Also, how do I make it so the lights only come on when I turn on my headlights... thankyou for ANY help.

wow flames a blazing,
the guy is asking a simple question.
even though its ricey, no need to flame.
better than those, " i got $5000 what car should i buy?" posts.
to get the leds to turn on with your headlights, you will need a relay.
and tap into your headlight or dash light power wire.
the voltage from this wire will trip the relay to the on position for the relay.
a relay is basically a switch, that switches on when power is present.
you will need to find a power source for the leds. do not tap into the power from your dashlights/headlights. use only to trip the relay.
take a multimeter and find power in a empty fuse slot, in the fusebox.
then use that.
get some extra fuses , cuz you are prob gonna blow some.
princess auto has them cheap, dont get them from crappy tire. they re expensive.
google relays for more info._______________
