On an unrelated note, anyone with an Apple watch notice battery life after the update? Not sure if placebo affect, but it seems to last a lot longer now than before. It used to drain 10% battery life over night, now it's only 5%. During my day, I can go few hours before it drops from 100%.

On my iPhone 7 Plus with iOS 11, battery life seems to be the same or a bit worse. Could be me playing with it a lot more to try out features and stuff.

Not by a tremendous amount but noticeable. I'd say 5~10% more battery usage from the morning til the night

iOS 11.0.1 Download Released for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch
http://www.iphoneincanada.ca/news/ios-11-0-1-download/
Apple has just pushed out iOS 11.0.1 for download, which comes in at 279.6MB for the iPhone 7 Plus. The update says it includes “bug fixes and improvements for your iPhone or iPad.” This also marks the first update for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus (286.6MB)

I am patiently waiting for 11.1 before upgrading my iPhone.

When there is a video notification from the MLB At Bat app, if you 3D Touch the notification, you can view the video right on your lock screen.. this feature no longer works on iOS 11 now.

Yup... a HUGE PITA. I was looking all over for it. At first I thought something was wrong, wrong download, changed menus, etc., etc. but looked through google only to find they eliminated it. Now you cant update or organize apps thru itunes but only through the stupid screens on the cell. I dont know about other peeps but pressing, holding the stupid apps onscreen then dragging them around thru multiple screens to organize is a huge annoyance. One wrong move and all of the apps spread all over the place. Then you spend another 30 minutes putting them all back dragging one by one. Itunes showed the screens and you can use the mouse to drag them around and simply sync them to the fone. That's gone, wtf...

Damn, iOS 11.1 beta just came out. Is this worth to download or wait for official public releases??

What’s New in iOS 11.1 Beta [VIDEO]
http://www.iphoneincanada.ca/news/whats ... eta-video/

According to the video, here are some changes in iOS 11.1 beta:
  • Lockscreen unlock animation is slightly tweaked and faster
  • Camera shortcut from Lockscreen now ‘pops’ into view instead of just sliding in
  • Jumping from a notification to the respective app has a new ‘bounce’ effect
  • ‘Rubber banding’ when tapping the status bar to return to the top of a page slows down at the end
  • iBooks now has updated iOS 11 icons along the bottom tab
  • Keyboard now suggests up to 3 emojis
  • Incorrect passcode attempts no longer have haptic feedback
  • Assistive Touch in Accessibility gets new options
  • Assistive Touch: now opens depending on where the floating button is based on screen
  • Assistive Touch: new Siri, Home and Gestures icons
  • Restrictions: new iOS 11 camera icon
  • Music: new Now Playing splash screen shows you where “up next” is located
  • Feedback iOS app has returned
  • Reachability has a display bug with overlapping icons
  • Siri has a lock screen bug with Touch ID
  • 3D Touch app switcher has not returned yet

I would wait unless the beta solves a issue you are currently having.

11.0.2 feels little bit smoother than 11.0.1

It says "Toronto Chinese Archway", googling = https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Toront ... 79.3533334

Photography is a function of light, the huge spotlight helps. It looks like the algorithm overly sharpens it, you can still see the noise/muddiness in the low light areas.

Same concept here, add light to a person:

Not a fan of iOS 11 on my iPad. Hate the keyboard key remap and some apps are going wacky. Mainly PC Plus, anyone else having issues with that app?
