iOS v12 Beta

I hear that the new iOS 12 beta runs very fast on old iPhone as 5s, comparing with iOS v11, app launching is 40% faster, open camera from lock screen is 70% faster, keyboard appearing is 50% faster.
Look like people are exciting with this new OS, either there still be many bugs.

Is there any RFDers trying it? I feel iOS 11.2-4 makes my iPhone 7 running slower and the battery drain faster with the latest updates (since 11.2)

I’m running it on my iPad. It’s a typical buggy beta 1. Not much value in updating imo

Bu-bu-but it's not the official version. So unless you know how to play around with and deal with errors in beta's best not to download.

I regret updating to the beta so early. CarPlay isn’t working correctly and disconnects frequently, the GPS isn’t accurate, etc.

I was swayed by many saying it was less buggy than usual beta releases (I disagree)

If you made a back up, before going to beta IOS 12
you can revert back to IOS 11

I guess we'll have to see when the full version comes out. One thing I am pleased with is Apple focusing on improving bugs and fixing existing features rather than rolling out a new iOS focused on providing "new and exciting" stuff while zapping the functionality of your non-current iPhone
