IPad & Apple Student Discount Question

I am just wondering what is a good ipad stand to use since the one I like doesn't seem to support the new IPad.

Does apple student discount apply in stores also??

My student number is on the letter along with my name and address.

You could probably try taking it there. The letters show the number and program so technically it is almost the same as an ID.
