Apple Canada marketing department (real) has contacted me personally and asked me how I'm using the iPad Pro, I told them I use X app to do Y thing, that was the end of an encounter.

Guys, is the YouTube app actually playing videos in 1440p as selectable as a quality option? Certainly the UI doesn't look like it has been updated for the Pro, but the 1440p option is there on 4K videos and they do appear to look rather sharp but don't know if that's just a benefit of downscaling from a higher res...

Here's an example - http://youtu.be/vSF0jiKodDU

Awesome! I presume they mean the interface though rather than 4k videos? I hope I'm wrong... Will check it out soon as I get home.

EDIT: Yep - max video res is still 1440p :(

BTW One week in and I'm very happy with the Pro.... Glad I didn't wait for the Air 3

Sweet! With this and YouTube now updated, the only app that I have a real complaint about is Facebook - looks truly terrible on the iPP

Where the heck do you even find RMVBs anymore? there are certainly much more efficient codecs these days...

Real Media. Wow, thought they were out of business. The developers added DIVX for a user that asked even though it is old so in my opinion they do listen.

.RMVB Thanks for the chuckle.
