IPC Computers...passwork for BIOS?
IPC went banko a few years back and my father needs help with his 8 year old computer running Win 98.
He is getting a BSOD on boot-up and can't get into the BIOS because it is password protected. Anyone got one of these or maybe used to work for IPC and can tell me how to get into the BIOS?
TIA

Pull out the battery for a minute or two to reset the bios.

Jumper
There should be a jumper near the battery, if you move the jumper to the extra pin, power on the PC and then shut it down. Return the jumper to the normal position, it will reset the BIOS and remove the password.
