iPhone 4S under iOS 8.2 : slow?

Do any of you have an iPhone 4S ?

I'm about to purchase one for 110 unlocked (trusted source) and would like to know if the phone is slow or fast under the latest iOS 8.2 ?

thanks

kind of slower than ios 6
but 8.2 is about same speed as ios 7

but if you played with ios 8.2 on a iPhone 6 in an apple store before, then you are tainted
and will surely curse that ios 8.2 is damn slow on 4s and everything about it will feel slow to you

My iPhone 4S is running iOS 8 and it's noticably slower than when I was on iOS 7. However, it still runs smoother than any mid-range Android phone on Kit Kat 4.4. And if you're getting it at $110 then it's totally worth it.

ok so can someone tell me if this phone has the correct bands for Koodo?
model MD237C/A
A1387

Also the home button could work better. Is this difficult to dissassemble and replace? I see the part as being 3 $ on dx.com.

thanks

if not comfortable doing the replacement above, you can use onscreen home button

What happens when you do a factory reset on an iPhone 4S? Does it go back to iOS 5? If so can you then update it to iOS 6; or do you have to go all the way up to iOS 8.2?

It goes back to the last version of iOS you installed.

A colleague of mine picked up a 4S this past week on that getorchard deal for $140 and decided to bite the bullet and install the latest iOS (8.2?) on the basis of this arsTechnica article. Considering it's an almost 4 year old phone, he says it runs very acceptably.
