also, i'd like to add that, this would be an USED electronic item.

Used item or not, tax is charged. There should be no duties on your item, just tax.

Be aware to avoid upgrading the firmware on that iPhone as it will most likely re-lock the phone if not brick it.

Umm... the only things that are useless about it are visual voicemail and internet access thru rogers. You can still access the internet virtually anywhere through WiFi for free, plus you have (IMO) the best phone interface ever made. Having an iPhone in Canada is FAR from useless.
