(iPhone Watch) Citizen Men's Proximity Eco-Drive Proximity Watch - $300 at Amazon.ca
If you were on the fence of owning an Eco-Drive watch, here's your chance to own one + connects to your iPhone.
Introducing Citizen Eco-Drive Proximity, a perpetual calendar chronograph with low-energy Bluetooth 4.0 powered by Eco-Drive Technology. Unique features include time/calendar adjustment, iPhone search, 10-meter sync, phone and email alert and appointment calendar notification. Additional timekeeping functions include a 1-second chronograph that measures up to 60 minutes, 12/24 hour time with AM/PM indicator, power reserve indicator, luminous hands and markers, non-reflective crystal, and water resistance to 100 meters. Available in stainless steel and black ion plated versions, the 45mm case has a perforated black leather strap with contrast stitching. Citizen Eco-Drive Proximity is currently compatible with the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and pairing is simple with the free Citizen iPhone app with technical updates.
More information can be found in the link, I found the FAQ to be helpful: http://www.citizenwatch.com/en-us/wa...del=AT7030-05E
Anyways, it's $300 at amazon.ca vs. $371.25 at amazom.com
Comes in 2 colours:

LOL
That was not what I was expecting...
So it would requiry you to leave Bluetooth always on/connected on your iPhone, since most wear their watches all day?
Wouldn't that drain out the iPhone battery quicker?
And it can do phone search, which means what that there is a mic built in the phone?
Then couldn't it also work as an actual BT headset?

I don't understand how this thing could do iPhone search?
Anyway, the reviews seem mainly positive but do be aware you'll have to re-activate the bluetooth sync every 6 hours as it automatically disconnects to save battery.

It's Bluetooth 4.0. Phone search is a "pager" function to locate the phone.

Obviously much better looking than the Pebble but after watching this:
I suppose it's just vibration indicators and a neat way to find your phone.
Anyone have any personal experience with this?
OP: Add Amazon Links:
Amazon.ca - Black/Green
Amazon.ca - Silver/Blue

This iPhone search functionality is just plain silly. How often does one need to find their iphone?? This iPhone search capability has my vote for unnecessary gadget/feature of the year.

It uses the new Bluetooth LE, which is on iPhone 4S, 5, iPad Mini, etc. Way more energy efficient. For example the sleep mode uses 1/100 of the power. The pairing is also much quicker and simpler. There will be a wave of these 'connect to your iPhone' type devices coming out this year. A few health tracking bands already use it.

G-shock is more informative, $180, a rugged watch for working/enviro conditions when pulling out your iPhone is not ideal.

Not a bad-looking watch, but appears to be completely gimmicky.
