Hey,
I'm going to be getting an Ipod real soon and wanted to know which Skin to get? Everyone seems to love the iSkin Evo2 but I read it had to be removed to work with a dock. Is that true? I don't need anything with a belt clip, it's just going in my pocket, but I'd like something that'll prevent the chrome back and screen from getting all scratched up, and that can be used with a dock. This isn't so important, but I'd like it to be clear, or like iSkin's Arctic White and not make the ipod very big. Any suggestions?

Those are nice, but it states on their page that they cannot be used with a dock.

if you're intent on getting a silicon case you need to get one that has the bottom 1/3 of it chopped off so that you 'bend' it off of the ipod. i'm happier just slipping my sleevz off when i need to use the dock.

edit - or alternatively ignoring the dock all together and just use the sync cable.

I need a case that is thin enough to dock with (its ok if it has a flap at the bottom) but also can hold my itrip. The speck skins I have now can dock b/c it has a flap at the bottom but they are too thick for my itrip. The other one I have is super thin enough for my itrip but with no flip bottom and is still too thick to dock. I'm not too worried about shock protection or screen protection (I use PDA screen protector shields to protect against scratches.

i suggest the eXoflp 4g from Lajo... very durable and its not thick at all...
