Itunes is great because you can have it crossfade into the next random song. But I hate it just the same because I keep getting dupe entries in my playlist I cannot seem to fix.

Whipped because I don't respect companies the use deceptive practices? Seriously if all you can do is poison the well, then you’re not even worth the crud that is transferred from my fingers to my keyboard as I type this. I don't like this product because it is made to deceive, not because it's copying apple. They could be ripping off any company and I would be saying the same thing. So if you can say something that is not a fallacy then go ahead, but until then I think it you who are whipped by the counter culture surrounding apple, so you can cry me a river. k son? That's what I thought.

I wonder if anyone noticed that the iPod Shuffle is strikingly similar to Sony's RMT-V402B? Sony might have sued them if they hadn't tagged along for Blu-Ray.

It's about the design and how Apple ripped them off! They even copied the center Play button. Apple has stooped to copying remote controls now!

This has got to be the most absurd post of today hands down.

If Alienware comes out with a SFF PC, that must mean they copied Shuttle !!! Not !

Your reply is the most NONSENSICAL reply of the month! We're talking about crappy sounding mp3 players that copied another crappy sounding mp3 player that copied a remote control. Where has Apple's creativity gone?

It has nothing to do with Alienware & Shuttle, which has a partnership for SFF PC cases, which is different (ie: supplying/working together as opposed to ripping the company off.)

Actually I was reading a PC Magazine article and Machrone (who is an audiophile) put it to the test and the Shuffle is the best sounding mp3 player he has touched. It even beats its bigger siblings in sound reproduction.

Yep, ppl always complained about the sound quality of the ipod.

Not surprising that the shuffle has good audio quality. Flash players tend to have decent sound too. But best he's ever heard might be stretching it a little.

Actually, I read the review, and you should read it again. Not once did he say it was the best he ever touched.

Really? I guess that means Apple only makes iPods & nothing else. Find one post where I mentioned any other Apple product negatively (software or hardware,) when (if) you find one, let us know.

It's almost as original as a Sony remote control err, I mean iPod Shuffle eh? It's no surprise Apple jumped onto Blu-Ray after the Shuggle was released. They are saving themself from a lawsuit!

I used to have the same kind of hatred as you have against Apple. Now I realise how foolish that was of me and I think no different about you. ;)

As for Apple joining the Blu-Ray association, it has nothing to do with preventing any lawsuits from Sony. You might have missed that Steve Jobs sparked a friendly collaboration with Sony when you he called Sony's president onstage at MWSF05. Steve believes that 05 is the year of bringing HD into homes and Sony's vision was congruent with that. Obviously you might now know or might know it and still ignore and continue to thrive on "theories".

Off you go on my ignore list. :cheesygri
