The Asus 23" at TD is nice. Its on sale at Amazon.ca for $189.99 + Free super saver shipping but OOS :( . Was gonna use my Amazon credits for it. Does TD or any other place price match Amazon.ca?
The TD is now sold out online. Yesterday, I did see it at $189.99 at Best Buy. I think it was regular price too! Right now the BB site is closed for the boxing day sale later on.

I called dell directly and they adjusted the pricing for shipping to $0. Came to $311 and change.

Hmm... Less $100 for a Visa GC I was given as a gift - $211. Did you call them after placing the order or before/when placing the order?

Edit: Doesn't it come to $327.68 including 13% tax?

OWEN SOUND
My LG IPS was god awful. So much glow on the screen and the image was just...terrible. Their TV's are IPS as well and like the entry ones at costco have terrible image quality and glow.

There's also the hp zr monitors being mentioned, but i know little about them.
As for some of the LG ips monitors out there, while still being great, ive been hearing some bad graininess, as well as ghosting, bleeding, etc from those (noticable in fast-paced games), but they do seem good from a price standpoint. If you dont care about those factors, than go for it.[/QUOTE]

Hmmm. Forgot about the Enviro fee. PS how can I haggle for no shipping cost?

keep in mind the Dell 27" is a true mirror. If you look ugly, try to avoid it at all cost. Otherwise, another beautiful display with good color accuracy.

Woah, that looks stunning. What a beautiful display. Too bad its glossy.

I think I'm going to go for the U2312HM at Dell for $179. I've considered it a few times this year, and I think this is the best price I've seen yet. 23" is good, I think I'd prefer 1920x1080 to 1920x1200. I'd be using it mainly for browsing, with some movies/TV and games. No professional work or anything.

I'm using an S2309W, and it's decent enough, but it's getting a bit beat up, and it'd be nice to get rid of the CRT being used on the older computer.

Anyone have thoughts about why I would go another route?
