I called dell directly and they adjusted the pricing for shipping to $0. Came to $311 and change.

My LG IPS was god awful. So much glow on the screen and the image was just...terrible. Their TV's are IPS as well and like the entry ones at costco have terrible image quality and glow.
There's also the hp zr monitors being mentioned, but i know little about them.
As for some of the LG ips monitors out there, while still being great, ive been hearing some bad graininess, as well as ghosting, bleeding, etc from those (noticable in fast-paced games), but they do seem good from a price standpoint. If you dont care about those factors, than go for it.[/QUOTE]

I think I'm going to go for the U2312HM at Dell for $179. I've considered it a few times this year, and I think this is the best price I've seen yet. 23" is good, I think I'd prefer 1920x1080 to 1920x1200. I'd be using it mainly for browsing, with some movies/TV and games. No professional work or anything.
I'm using an S2309W, and it's decent enough, but it's getting a bit beat up, and it'd be nice to get rid of the CRT being used on the older computer.
Anyone have thoughts about why I would go another route?
