Iran launches homegrown satellite
Iran says it has launched its first domestically made satellite into orbit.

Good for them, maybe launching rockets will take their minds off of war, the way it did for USSR and USA in the '50's

Things like this make you appreciate how far ahead we are technologically here in the western world. The rest of the world has a ton of catching up to do.
Leave it to them to bring God/Allah/Flying Spaghetti Monster into a frigging satellite.
+1... perhaps if people spent less time praying to imaginary beings they wouldn't have taken so long to get a satellite up there

i'm glad that they managed to accomplish this.
I however am not happy that they are bringing religion into this.
Next thing you know, they'll be putting Nukes into them to spread Islam to the "infadels."
