::Issue with a k750:: Will not turn on.
I recently came into possession of a k750i, one of the best phones in my opinion. But the phone will not turn on. I spoke to one rfd member who insisted that I flash the phone, and that by doing so the issue should be releaved. He insisted that I also obtain a fastport charger for testing if the battery was dead or not. How can I fix this. Any input would help greatly.
Additional info: The phone hasnt been dropped (thats what the last owner stated) But does flashing really help the phone out.

If the phone shows no reaction when you try to turn it on, then:
a) the battery could be completely dead (I assume you tried to charge it, or you had the phone plugged into the charger)
b) the firmware could be hosed by a bad flash
c) the phone could be broken
You can't do much about b and c, but you can do something about a before you try replacing the battery.
If a battery has been allowed to go completely dead, sometimes it will not charge in the phone, and the phone will not turn on. You have to pull the battery out, figure out which are the +/- terminals, and put a direct charging voltage on it (usually 5-6 volts). After a few minutes there will be enough of a superficial charge on the battery for the phone to detect it, and the battery will then charge normally in the phone. Don't charge longer than a few minutes this way if it's a Lithium Ion battery and you are not sure of your exact charging current, or you run the risk of overheating the battery and having it burn or explode.
