*Italians Only* Do you consider yourself "White"?

I think this question is pritty self explanitory and one that has yet to be debated. Im italian, and I don't think Italians should fall under the "white" category. What do you guys think?

All I can think of is "Me Myself & Irene" when he explains away his sons' obvious blackness with "Oh yeah their grandmother ia 1/16th Italian".

I think Italians sgould list themselves not as "white" from now on, but as "ecru". Good enough?

This isn't really taxanomic. Asians, or "Yellow" people for example can be Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and even Russians and Ukrainians since they have Mongolian roots. It's obfuscating when it comes to assigning class and category in this way. We're all descendents from Ghengis Khan, so try to make sense of that one.
