Italy: Mid day Riposo. Should I fill this time with a tour/gallery/museum?
I have read that Italians like to take a mid-day siesta around 1pm-4pm and many stores and museums are closed during this time. I am wondering how significant this is in places like rome, florence and venice? Would it be better if I schedule tours during the riposo and save the early mornings and evenings for wandering and people watching?
PS: Sorry for creating so many posts regarding italy! I just want my trip to be great! (also min/max) :P
