I have been out of the SEO loop since 2009. There is so much information out there, and I'm just overwhelmed, especially with the validity and credibility of much of the information. Can you or anyone else point me to a site or other resources that has great SEO info I can implement? Thanks in advance.

Sorry guys, it's been quite busy. Here are my responses:

Search Engine Watch

The blogs from search engines themselves are usually pretty under-rated from my opinion. Everyone has their own theories and arguments on some aspects of SEO but keep in mind the companies themselves would never publish false information.
The search engines are a lot more smarter now than they were 2-3 years ago. Don't use any tricks (hiding text in your website and blending it with the background) or anything else similar. If you haven't done much SEO work, you can't "lose" position for your SEO. If you're removing text make sure not to remove links between websites and make sure you don't remove any key phrases or keywords by mistake. A better design doesn't guarantee better SEO but better usability can only improve your website. Do some reading on how spiders crawl websites as well.
Could you be more specific?_______________
