So i have a 1st Gen 8GB itouch that already been jailbreak @ version 1.1.4.


How do i go about to upgrade to 3.0 jailbreak?

Would i need to restore to original 1.1.4, upgrade to 3.0 and jailbreak?
Would i also need to add my songs again?

You have to pay for the firmware upgrade. 3.0 is not free for the iPod Touch

After you have the upgrade, then you can proceed to jailbreak.

No need to restore to original firmware.

Just sync your files to iTunes before you jailbreak and you will be safe.
