the deal isn't so good once you include the $18 no tracking shipping.

Looks too good to be true. There are lots of complaints against n1 wireless and BBB gives them an F:

IMO this deal is warm considering this is a Jawbone 2. Does anyone know if there are taxes and duty? 39.99 + 18 shipping * 1.058 (USD to CDN) = roughly $61.35. The high dollar right now makes this tempting.
Note: Just read van-deal's post. Anyone else order from this company?

looks like these jawbone2 are dropping in price. I bought 2 from PCCYBER a month ago for $100 + $6 shipping. I'm sure they will show up in local stores soon for about $50 a piece...

Want to do gaming at night. Is there a combo bluetooth headphone with built in headset for chatting?

What do you mean? This is designed for phones but can be used with PCs (like skype) and I'm sure it can be used for gaming as well. You will only get sound out of the one ear, though.

Pardon my ignorance, but how reliable is this retailer?
I'm hesitant after the fiasco with thecellshop.net.

Make sure it is not bulk or OEM packaged! It has to be retail to be authentic!
Aliph does not sell any OEM or bulk packaged Jawbone headsets. Any such headsets for sale are not covered under Aliph's warranty, and Aliph cannot guarantee their authenticity or quality. To ensure you are getting a genuine Jawbone PRIME, covered by our 1 year limited warranty, please be sure you purchase from one of our authorized retailers: http://us.jawbone.com/retailers.aspx. Hope that helps!
I looked into it and the ones at Tiger Direct are "bulk packaging" and they seem to have a very high rate of failure.
