btw, i just checked, the individual still needs to take the 2 year slp program, there's no time savings/money savings involved so there's no point in combining it - except that some MBA courses will be equivalent to the pre-requisites for the entrance exam (which has nothing to do with the SLP program) - update: the exception is wilfried laurier which lets you accelerate the SLP from 2 years to 10 months.

Hi, I've applied to write the Oct EE and just got my review booklets...
big sigh to see how much material had to be covered
Where do we get all the past exams? I got 2012 sample on cma site but wasn't sure where everybody was getting all the past exams to practice on.. Any tips would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Got an 82%. Wasn't quite sure how well I did after the exam but I didn't feel that great.
Numerous posters have recommended concentrating on the past exams to study. I would add that I found the IFRS/ASPE pdf helpful. I wouldn't study it a ton but I found it helpful as it's been a couple years since I took my courses.

I was just wondering, for the 2 year slp program. Isn't there is another exam? Is that really hard? Anybody currently in the 2 year slp program like to share your experiences?

I am writing the EE in October 2012.
Just registered for the exam and haven't gotten any study materials. I want to start now, any suggestions besides looking at old text books?
Also for the successful writers for the June 2012 EE, when did you start your exam prep? And what kind of study schedule did you set up?
How many hours did you study per week?

I wonder where I can find the mock exams?
I saw many posts here said they hand in the mock exams for mark? Where did you hand in to?
Thanks._______________

When you register for the EE, you also enroll in a prep course program.
The program includes:
a seminar on the format of the CMA Entrance Exam, study plans and multiple choice exam strategies
five technical review seminars, covering the exam’s major topics
two simulated Entrance Exams
a CMA Entrance Exam study manual (technical review notes plus problems and solutions)
an IFRS supplement manual.
The two mock classes are part of the preparatory program. You can also find previous exams and solutions through the CMA website.

Hey,
Mock exams are not posted on public sites. You must go to Mock exam sessions, yes in person, (there will be two sessions writing them) and purpose is to make you ready for the actual exam under similar exam environment. (4 hours.. really long). Once you hand your mock exams, they will mark them and email them back with feedbacks on each topics.
I find it very crucial to attend mock exam sessions in order to know where you're currently standing.
