Haven't been in a while but it was one of those places that allowed you to rummage through.

If you don't have time, try Arnprior Autoparts. They have huge inventory and they deliver to Ottawa for free (or they used to anyway).

I also like G&L and have gotten parts from them several times in the past. Offhand I believe there are at least 3 or 4 in East of Ottawa (look around Navan, Cumberland, Embrun, etc) and there used to be one near Barrhaven but I'm not sure if it's still there. There are also a few very large ones in Gatineau so that might actually be a good bet (last time I went, I think the one pretty close to the Gatineau airport seem to be the best organized and had a lot of parts available).

Last time I went, many of these places allowed you to remove parts yourself or would charge a nominal fee to take out the part for you ...

I used Union Auto Parts in the west end for Cavalier parts.. they had plenty of them!
