Ok, did some major heavy-duty shopping yesterday at a store closing sale yesterday. Hatch, back & seat were completed full of purchases! My initial reaction is that the hatch space is much small than the trunk of my old car. Surface space seems "similar" (maybe a little shorter?) but trunk had depth which translated into more space. Too bad I turned in the old cars manual, would have like to look at the trunk specs to compare to see if indeed I'm correct in less space or if it was just my imagination (or way too many bags!).

Just picked up my Nissan Rogue today ! It was awesome ! I drove it all day while playing some of my favorites music and its even better than I remember. It had 60km on it when I drove off the dealership and I managed to get it up to 200km today. I took it to my uncle's place and he cant believe how nice my rogue looked, for some reason when I told him I got a nissan rogue suv he was thinking of the x-trail. Only thing I missed is the cvt manual shift available on the SL model that I test drove, I thought the S would have it on the stick and just wont have the paddle shifters, oh well I should have asked.

Congrats! Red is great, isn't it? Hubby has been driving mine all weekend and can't believe how smooth it is! He has to replace his car soon & said "maybe I should look at one for me too" -- he loves the technical "toys" on the steering wheel! I'm finding it much smaller than my regular car but wouldn't trade the smooth ride & the height while driving for anything! I like the toys too but still need to learn how to use them! And, they seem to be procreating - everytime I take it out, there's at least one or two others parked nearby!

I love my rogue ! just took it to work today, from my window I can see it parked outside. beside it is a gold Toyota Rav4 and a little further is a white hyundai Tucson. I sure am glad I got the Rogue. It looks so much better ! I was hoping to see the blue rogue on my way to work but I did not see it. also, after driving alot on the weekend, I dont notice the "blind spot" on the back anymore, I can easily see the car behind me and I had no problem shoulder checking to switch lane. Only thing that worries me is the CVT transmission, I read on the rogue forums that the 2008 has some noisy/clunking CVTs especially at low speeds. I've been specially attentive when I am going slow and listening for any weird noise, none yet so far, but I notice the rev noise is louder when driving slow than when I am driving faster but I think thats normal.

Glad to hear thet you like the Rogue. In the end...I went with the 2010 Equinox 1LT. I was able to get a good deal in is, using CCC reports, and a bit of helpful advice from RFD posters. One of the deciding factors for me was the CVT transmission on the Rouge. I'm sure that the CVT is ok...I really liked how it drove, but I like to error on the side of caution. (Besides...my cousin knows how to work on a regular transmission!)

Glad you got a great deal with the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox. If you dont mind, the frugal negotiator in me wants to know how much did you get it for, what kind of deal, ie how much above invoice ? maybe post here or a new thread ? congratulations on the spanking new vehicle

Wow, that's a great price for such a new model that only just started arriving on dealer lots. Use it well and don't forget to post a quick review for us here.

Don't worry you're not missing much. I have this feature on my Altima 2.5SL and I've only used it once (for quick passing on the highway). If it worked better, I'd use it more.

Well...I shuffled the numbers around a bit. I worked out a great price on the LS model...then moved up to the 1LT model, and only had them add the invoice cost difference between the two. So, they only made profit on the LS price. PLUS...I also mentioned that since this is a new model, it might be worth it to them to get a few on the street with their name on it. (A bit of advertising for them.)
I know that I did not get much for my trade-in...but I know that I have about $5500.00 worth of repairs needed on my old Sunfire, so any amount was better than keeping it.

I am going to get my Rogue tinted this weekend. The guy is charging me $130 to tint all the rear windows. I will let you know how it goes.

I thought the back windows were already tinted? I don't sit in the back -- will need to run out to the driveway to check!

I think yours is an SL so it probably has the privacy glass option. mine is an awd S which only has the UV protection windows.
