Was looking for some more K-cup pods and found these on Amazon.ca:
http://www.amazon.ca/gp/feature.html...cId=1000991031
Reviews on the .com side look pretty good so I thought I'd give it a try. I bought two variety packs. About $0.50 a pod with free shipping over $25 is not bad... but if anyone can find it cheaper let me know!

Amazon seems to charge HST on the coffee. Is tt typical of other retailers?

Timothy's coffee shops (YMMV) still has their boxes of 24 on sale......you get 3 boxes of 24 (72 pods in total) for $39.99. Works out to .56 cents per pod and you can mix and match.
There was an older thread about this, but I cant find it when I do a search.

I've been charged HST at Staples on coffee too. Here's a good reference site: http://www.fin.gov.on.ca/en/tax/hst/taxable.html

I was in Costco - Nanaimo a couple of days ago. Starbucks Verona was $0.517/cup. Timothy's, van Houte and some other brand were $0.50/cup.

The prices on these vary somewhat, between 0.45 and 0.55 per cup.

Personal preference of course, but while the Timothy's ones I've had were okay, I've found there are much better kcups out there and the pricing is comparable.

Thanks for this Derek. I ordered a couple of boxes, which is a risky blind purchase considering the large quantity. But the deal is too good to pass up (cheaper than the .com prices).

I've never heard of this brand. Anyone try it?
Considering Timothys and Green Mountain can be had for .55 - .60c I'm not going to save like a nickel for this per cup, I rather go with what I know than risk something. Now, if this was .35c a cup, I'd say it's a good deal.

I've tried a few of these from ECS and I think they're pretty good. I'm not a big coffee drinker but was a big fan of Costa Rican coffee when I went on a trip there and I really like the Brown Gold Costa Rican blend.
